Hey there! I’m McKenzie, the owner behind Local Thread Company.

I started this brand because I’ve always loved being creative, and I wanted to build something that felt local, intentional, and real. What started as a small idea to help me get more time at home with my kids, has grown into a project I’m incredibly proud of.

 

When I’m not working on embroidery, you can usually find me at the bedside working as a Critical Care RN, or spending time with my family. Local Thread Company is about more than apparel—it’s about telling stories, supporting our community, and creating pieces you actually feel good wearing.
